SIA’2010 – the major automotive event of the year.
The Kyiv International Motor Show unites the automotive market of Ukraine.

According to previous data provided by member companies of Ukrautoprom Association, in March 2010, domestic automakers put out 5, 267 pieces of motor vehicles, including 4, 493 cars, 613 trucks and 161 bus.

In general, March observed a trend towards capacity expansion. The total increase in output before February 2010 is 69%. In the first quarter of 2010, Ukraine produced 10, 710 motor vehicles.

Exhibiting has been always a beneficial marketing step, which the biggest automobile companies undertake after the “crisis calm” in order to exhibit only on major and the most famous exhibition grounds under the well-know and deserved signboard. Any regular customer, who can mainly see the outer side of marketing, consider participation of the automotive brand in a motor show as a sign of stability and development of the manufacturing company.

This year’s Kyiv SIA’2010 Motor Show starts on May 27th to be lasted during four days up to May 30th. The event organizers report a keen interest from the side of exhibitors. After all, about 16, 000 sq. m. of exhibition space out of total 26, 000 sq. m. have been occupied by the beginning of April. By the way, SIA'2010 will be notable for format “fineness”, i.e. exceptionally personal vehicles will exhibit. Another expoforum from Ukrautoprom Association and Autoexpo dedicated to commercial vehicles, TIR’2010 Freight & Commercial Vehicle Show, will take place on October 5 through 8.

Now, the organizers are being active in allocation and designing of individual set-ups. Today, it has been known about the participation in the Motor Show of the following car brands: Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Geely, GROZ, Opel, KIA, Chery, LADA, ZAZ, BOGDAN, HYUNDAI, Ssang Yong and Subaru.

Quite a few sudden premiers are expected.

The grandees of the national car service market and overseas companies offering spare and completing parts, car maintenance services and technologies will make their presence in SIA’2010 felt.

This display was thought to be set in the expo-block 3 of the International Exhibition Centre. However, the area of this pavilion is now not big enough to fully accommodate all companies wishing to exhibit. At the present moment, we decided to extend the area of car service booths. A popular among the professionals throughout the country display will be located in the expo-block 2.

The following sound brands are among the participants: AUTOMECHANICA, POLEK-TOP, Тip-Тоp Service, AutopromImpex, SpetsAutoobladnanna, KRON AUTO, MOTOR SPORT, XADO, FORCE, HENKEL, EQUINET, NAVIONIKA, AGA Dnipro, OPTIMA- ОIL, PHOENIX MARKET and many others. The impact area of car service display of the country’s major motor show keeps on expanding.

The companies from India, Malaysia, Moldova and Estonia first take part in SIA’2010. Besides traditional displays from China, Poland and Turkey, the list of community set-ups got longer. A new collective organizer has appeared to represent the offers of Taiwanese companies. Commercial Department of the US Embassy in Ukraine will promote car service companies from overseas.

Furthermore, some allied shows will happen within the major automotive event. Those are Autoexclusive’2010, Caravanning & Autotourism’2010, Car and Tuning Show’2010.

The event program promises to be rich in occurrences. At present, the organizers are working at the Motor Show schedule.

So, the aggressive preparation for SIA’2010 goes on. The major automotive event of Ukraine is a meeting point of domestic automotive market participants and motorcar enthusiasts. The show compulsory as SPRING and CHESTNUTS will amuse the guests of the capital and Kyivites with enchanting holiday of the world motorcar industry.
