The National SIA’2010 Motor Show will display some new models

The biggest automobile exhibition of the country will take place on May 27 - 30 on the ground of the International Exhibition Centre at LEVOBEREZHNA.

This year, the major automotive event will gather under the roof of the International Exhibition Centre at 15 Brovarsky Ave. over four hundred automotive companies from all over the globe. SIA always was more than just a motor show. It became a genuine hub of the automotive life of our country. Festive atmosphere is a traditional phenomenon of the Motor Show attracting the entire automotive community, including chiefs of automobile companies, trade visitors, pressmen, sportsmen and simply car fanciers.

All exhibitors without exemption plan to show brand-news at the Kyiv Motor Show. Some of them as for instance Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Opel, Hyundai, Renault and LADA have named the debutants of the Ukrainian market to be seen at the SIA’2010 Motor Show; the others, including KIA, still “do not put their cards on the table”, having talks with their headquarters on the possibility to deliver in Kyiv the highest possible number of premier brands.

In general, at the turn of May, all the newest and most interesting of the global car industry will be displayed to Ukrainian car admirers in the IEC expo-blocks at Levoberezhna within SIA’2010.

HYUNDAI, a popular brand from Far East, will present new SONATA. The manufacturer himself stated that new Sonata was a huge step forward in respect of design and quality. The company thinks that the appearance of this model establishes a new world standard for medium-sized sedans, with the application of state-of-the-art technologies. It is characterized by improved quality and exciting design.

The outlook of another brand-new from HYUNDAI - ix35 conquers the many, making the hearts burn with passion to hug the steering wheel of such a beauty. This is the main difference of ix35 from its slightly stooping and somewhat clumsy forerunner Hyundai Tucson. By the way, it has not hindered Tucson from becoming a folk car of its class due to high reliability, versatility of use and, of course, pricing policy of the company.

Mercedes-Benz will display E-class cabriolet at SIA’2010. Having made a new cabriolet, the Stuttgart engineers created an extremely attractive and striking replenishment to a successful family of Mercedes-Benz Е-class cars. The idea of “Four Seasons for the Four” has become a motto of designers, who set a priority to design a cabriolet operable the whole year round.

Opel Insignia - a winner of numerous awards, including Car of the Year’2009 in Europe and Car of the Year’2010 in Ukraine, will be displayed at the International SIA’2010 Motor Show in three body versions: sedan, liftback and Sports Tourer. In the Opel product line, this car has been the first carrier of a new design language, which combines sculpture atheism and German accuracy.

At the International SIA’2010 Motor Show, Chevrolet will display Cruze. With this model, Chevrolet begins a new history page in Ukraine; after all, the engineers started it from a blank sheet of paper, on a new platform. This global model will bear the same name all over the world markets and, according to the construction people’s concept, has to change the rules of the game in a compact segment.

Renault will display at the Motor Show the entire renewed line. NEW Megane Coupe, NEW Scenic, NEW Renault Megane III, NEW Renault Kangoo, and Fluence – a new leader of Renault line. The company was presenting these models during the last period of fall 2009 – spring 2010. However, they all will be first displayed together at the National SIA’2010 Motor Show.

Renault Fluence – dimensions, design, standards of equipment, comfort and safety of this car meet the requirements of business class vehicles. However, the affordable price of a medium-class car will be one of the advantages and a pleasant surprise for you.

NEW Renault Megane III – a new hatchback of C-class. The car is made to the best Renault design school traditions, with the consideration, however, of the fanciest world body trends. A five-door body has own unique features making the car attractive and recognizable simultaneously. Renault Megane of the third generation has a very sound engineering ground.

NEW Scenic – a new vision of multifunctional car that combines contemporary level of comfort and extra heavy road adaptability.

NEW Megane Coupe is characterized by designers as sports, exclusive and stylish car. The car embodies sports chassis as a standard of high maneuverability as well as up-to-date equipment for fully safe and comfortable driving.

The Russian VAZ will present Lada Priora Coupe and Lada Kalina Sport.

SUBARU, SsangYong, Chery, Geely, Groz, Bogdan and others will also arrange their set-ups at the Kyiv Motor Show.

 In addition to proper motor vehicle manufacturers and importers, the key companies engaged in car decorative trim, parts and service will come together to the show. Financial sector as well has started moving closer to car buyers. Some solid banks and insurance companies will offer their services as participants of the Motor Show.

On May 27, the Motor Show will open the doors for the press and trade visitors. The following three days, anyone (the children under 12 with parents have free admittance) may come to the show. Besides automotive exhibit, each of 400 SIA’2010 exhibitors prepares surprises and interesting programs.

Along with novelties of the world car industry, displays of AutoExclusive, Caravanning and Autotourism are waiting for visitors. Admirers of car multimedia can “become soaked” with the emulative spirit during the car multimedia and tuning competitions to be taken place on Saturday and Sunday of May 29 and 30.

The experts believe that the major automotive event of Ukraine will unite domestic car market competitors and motorists; and the Motor Show, compulsory as SPRING and CHESTNUTS will amuse the Kyivites and guests of the capital with a celebration of the world automotive industry.
