First APRA (Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association) meeting in Ukraine

Central and Eastern Europe is the European region with the highest growth for cars and light commercial vehicles. Improving economies due to European integration and foreign investments and the growing personal incomes are driving this growth in the region.

As a result of these positive trends, the amount of vehicle services will also grow, and the acceptance of remanufactured products as opposed to reuse old components or repaired components, will now over time steadily and surely increase. APRA recognised this trend and has over the last two years started to organise meetings and exhibitions (in Prague and Warsaw) in this new emerging region.

To underline this new objective APRA decided recently to hold its first exploratory meeting in Kiev, Ukraine in May during the 17-th Kiev International SIA`2009 Motor Show.

At this meeting to which APRA invites all progressive remanufacturers and their suppliers ( APRA members or not) to take advantage of the unique opportunity to network and engage vital dialogues on issues affecting our reman industry in Central and Eastern Europe. Remanufacturers will find ideas that will drive their business forward.

The meeting will take place on May 27, 2009 in ADRIA Hotel (2, R. Okipna Str., Kyiv, Ukraine) located in TOURIST Hotel Building not far from International Exhibition Center (15 Brovarskiy Ave.,Kyiv, Ukraine, Livoberezhna Underground Station). The meeting starts at 5.30 p.m. and ends at 7.30 p.m.
