On Wednesday the 25th of May 2011, the most awaited automotive event of the year – the 19th Kyiv International SIA’2011 Motor Show commences on the ground of the International Exhibition Centre at 15 Brovarsky Ave., Levoberezhna Underground Station.

Organizers are Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Ukrautoprom Association of Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers, and Autoexpo Ukrainian Exhibition Company. SIA'2011 Motor Show, a major automotive celebration of the country, is included in OICA’s Calendar of the world’s leading motor shows.

Festive atmosphere is a traditional phenomenon of the Motor Show attracting the entire automotive community, including chiefs of automobile companies, trade visitors, pressmen, sportsmen and simply car fanciers. The year of 2011 is not an exception. But SIA will be certainly remembered as a Motor Show of many premiers. Within the Motor Show, many brand-news will be set out by exhibitors, including Mercedes-Benz, Brilliance, Chevrolet, Chery, Chrysler, Dodge, Daihatsu, Faw, Geely, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lada, Lifan, Opel, Saipa, SsangYong, Subaru, Renault, ZAZ, Bogdan, GAZ, etc.

Mercedes-Benz will show four new models: C-Class, SLK, CLS and C-Class Coupe. Jeep will set out Compass, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler as well as Dodge Caliber. Kia – Picanto will be located in the heart of KIA booth. Hyundai will show some new models: Accent, Sonata, Grandeur, Elantra, Veloster as well as new i40 station wagon. The line of cars to be represented by AIS Group includes six Geely models (5 of them are premiers in Ukraine), five SsangYong off-roads and updated Chevrolet NIVA. Opel will exhibit brand-news: Astra Sports Tourer and New Corsa. Renault – Latitude, Logan, Sandero and Logan MCV. Chevrolet - Spark and Orlando. Chery will demonstrate new Beat. Our native ZAZ will show the brilliant Forza hatchback. Brilliance – BS4, DS6, FSV and CROSS. However, that is not a complete list of the Motor Show brand-news. There are companies, who will not disclose to the public the information about brand-news. They are going to do that right at the Motor Show.

Alongside of motor vehicle manufacturers and importers, there will be the biggest exhibit of car components, care products, electronics, etc. Financial sector as well begins to turn its face upon car consumers; some participating banks and insurance companies will offer their services.

Besides, the AutoExclusive display is waiting for visitors of the Motor Show. They will be able to value excellent design of contemporary and vintage cars. The following companies take part in AutoExclusive exhibit: 4Х4 Off-Road Centre, Autotuning Group, Elex-K, Autodesign Atelier, etc.

In general, the number of the Kyiv International SIA’2011 Motor Show exhibitors amounts to 470 companies from over 20 countries throughout the world allocated exceptionally on the indoor area of 27 000 sq. m. Considerable part of exhibitors comes from foreign lands, including Austria, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Italy, China, Korea, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Romania, USA, Turkey, France, Czech Republic and Japan. This year, the exhibitors from the United Arab Emirates first joined in SIA.

The exhibit of wheel and tire companies has notably expanded. A variety of offers will come from OEM such as Continental, Hankook and Belshina. Elit Tyres, Liga Trans, Technoport-Trade and others will offer the most famous brands.

Automechanica, Autopromimpex-Hunter, Vitol, M-Filter, Polek-Top, Equinet Ukraine, Phoenix Market, Force, Xado and others are among the longstanding exhibitors of the Motor Show. BOSCH, the world car industry leader, will also please the guests with its booth.

May 25 - 26 is a Press & Trade Visitor Day. On weekends of May 28 and 29, SIA will become a favourite place of family holiday for the Kyivites and guests of the capital. Children under 12 with parents will have free admittance.

During five exhibition days, the visitors will be able to attend seminars, press conferences and presentations concerning practically all aspects of the present-day automotive market. The number of outstanding shows and presentation per square meter of the exhibition space will be increasing during the Motor Show open hours to culminate on the weekend.

Determination of the best SIA’2011 car will be a culmination of the Motor Show. At the ceremonial closing of the Motor Show on May 29, a car model collected the majority of votes from accredited pressmen, will be awarded a Grand Prix – the Crystal Wheel.
